Notifications stopped running on Versa 2

I have fitbit versa 2 and one plus 6 phone. The notification doesn't work and i have to constantly delete the app and reinstall it. I have the updated android version and updated fitbit app. I even called customer care but they said the team is working on it. Can someone help!

Try :

1) Disable the battery optimization for the Fitbit app

2) Lock Fitbit app in multitasking switcher

3) Restart your OnePlus device

Really looking forward for the update as this issue is irritating me alot. Its difficult to reinstall the app everyday.
