I bought this watch based on the high ratings but l've had numerous problems since purchasing it three months ago. Not sure if I got a lemon or it's just an inferior product. Here is a list of the problems:
1) Took minutes to get connected to bluetooth ( not the typical 60 seconds with other products)
2) Took HOURS (3 typically) to get it setup. Any of my other smart watches take less than 15 minutes.
3) Had to factory reset twice and reset up watch, same long time.
4) New firmware update did not fix this problem
5) Bluetooth connection drops constantly and longest connection lasts half day. Always have to restart phone ( indicating a possible bad software). Restarting versa does not fix. Had to factory reset twice when rebooting phone did not fix connectivity.
6) notifications work intermittently when bluetooth works.
7) Weather doesn't update unless manually forced to sync
😎 Clock face does not light up when moving my wrist, even after numerous attempts. However, it comes up once in a while when you don't need it.
9) Clock face comes up only when it wants to when I press the left button. Sometimes I have to try 3-4 times before it pops up. Very unreliable.
I feel like this is a very unusable watch.
I have owned several Pebble watches without any issues and I still have two running flawlessly. If it wasn't Fitbit that killed the brand I would have stuck with them. I have also purchased some cheap $30 Chinese watches that easily outperform the Fitbit. Yesterday I bought my roommate a Samsung active 2 and that watch exceeded my expectations and it only cost $60 more.
Do you think I got a lemon? Or are some of you experiencing similar problems? Very frustrated here
