Wanting to buy the Fitbit Versa. However, I own a OnePlus 5t phone and this is not included in the list of Fitbit's devices.

How will this affect me when using my Fitbit? Will this prevent me from using all the services provided on the Fitbit Versa?

*Update* I bought the fitbit Versa and it works perfectly fine with my OnePlus 5t

Hi there. I've just bought a fit but versa and have a One Plus 5T. I had assumed that all devices above a certain android/ios system would work so didn't check. But I'm having trouble with the syncing and an error message keeps coming up saying that I need to reset my Bluetooth. Certain sync features are working but others like notifications arent. Is yours working perfectly still?

Hi, mine does seem to work perfectly fine 95% of the time. However at the
moment it is playing up a bit and I don't seem to be receiving
notifications. But, maybe try to reset the watch and turn your Bluetooth
off on your phone, and restart that also. I hope it starts working soon!

I'm actually getting rid of mine because I'm fed up of the instability. The watch itself works great, HR is accurate and I get notifications reliably. What isn't so good is the two-way communication between the Versa and my phone.

Connected GPS is very flaky, taking ages to connect, if ever. Syncing stops working randomly, despite using all-day sync. Even when I reset the Versa to factory defaults, it took several attempts to get it visible to the app for pairing. Watch faces/apps rarely sync first time, and the whole thing is just frustrating to use. I can put up with the occasional hiccup, but when it happens more often than not, it's time to move on.

Mine loses connection to APP at least once every 3 days.  I use OnePlus  5T and can see same problems in oneplus forum for one plus 6 too.

When will Fitbit fix connection

I beg to differ. Nothing but issues with connectivity. 5T just doesn't jive with Versa. I've done it all several times and only holds for 1 day. Any help would be appreciated.

I cannot get the notifications on my oneplus 5. Can you tell me how you got them to work?

Hi, I did a lot of downloading and deleting the fitbit app!!

Make sure your connected via Bluetooth!

Download the app, go into your profile settings, press on the versa you
have installed on the app, scroll down to notifications (under general).

Turn on notifications for messages and Facebook messenger, and any others
you use.

It worked for me, I just sinc my watch every morning just to ensure I'll
receive my messages,

If that doesn't help, let me know and I'll do screenshots to help

The issue is it doesn't sync automatically or get notifications.

And did you solve it?

This hasn't been solved nor will it ever. Just make sure the next phone you get is in their approved list. 5T was never in their list.
