Password Reset Issues

My mother has a Versa 2.  I tried to login to the app for her on her and it keeps telling nmr:

 

Invalid email or password.

 

I tried the website on her phone and it told me:

 

User does not exist or password is incorrect

 

I have even tried restarting the device so the time is not 30 minutes SLOW ( the date is correct ).

 

1.) What is the issue and how do I fix this.

 

2.) If I have to reset the password what are the requirements it has to have when resetting it,

 

Android OS: 11.0

 

Fitbit App: 3.52 ( the app has current version installed)

 

Fitbit OS: 35.72.115

Hi @TechJunkieGirl  when the time is slow, it needs to sync. Syncing keeps it connected to the device from which the Fitbit gets the correct time. As for the password issue, I've had that before and generally rebooting the phone and waiting a bit seems to clear it up and I can log in again. Should you need to change the password, you'd need to have access to the email address that was used to set up. You have to verify the password change request.
