Personal couch for the jogging feature?

I personally own a Versa.  Update went well with a slight decrease in battery life as a result of it.  Nothing I can't complain much about as long as I charge the Versa every 2.5 days (running every day for about 30 mins with assisted GPS and bluetooth headphones).  The eason of this posting is that I have used the Nike+ app for a while and I did fell in love with it.  The fitbit app definitely gives Nike a run for its money BUT one feature that I would love to have is a coach while jogging and at the end of each run.  Is there a possibility that the Versa could implement a jog coach?  Or am I missing something?  Regards

Hi, Fitbit has it's own Coach app, which you can install: Go to apps within Fitbit app, press on All apps and search for Coach. On top of the list you will find Fitbit's own coaching app. Press on it and press install and you're up and running with the Coach app on your Versa. Whenever you start an exercise, you will have to start it and choose the exercise you are going to perform, and stop it when you're done. Hope this helps and is what you're seeking for.

@SunsetRunner thanks for the reply.  I have three of questions regarding the coach app:

1. Is it a paid app or does it have a trial period? Does it run directly from the Versa?

 2. As I start jogging, can I start the "Run" feature (on the Versa) on top the coach app?  Or does the coach app has its own "Run" feature?

3.  Does the coach app has sound? (through the headphones of course)  Will it interphere with the music that plays through the Versa?

Hi,

1. It's free and yes, you can use it directly form your Versa once installed

2. Once downloaded it on your Versa, you can start and stop the app from your Versa, when starting exercises in whatever way. The coach app will let you choose which exercise you want to do.

3. AFAIK, it will not interfere with your music.

@SunsetRunner thanks again for your replies.  The coach app is not necessarily something for me but it looks great.  I was looking more in the real of a "voice" announcing when I completed a mile and or a congratulatory message from a coach, once I finished a run 🙂  I am not too structured when it comes to workouts or such.  I want something a bit more open.  Thanks
