Poor customer service

So my Fitbit because obsolete- as someone else wrote- 2 years after I purchased it- just stopped syncing.  They don’t know why- I did nothing wrong so offered 35% off to get a new one- which is upsetting bc I didn’t break my current one.  At the same time- I received an advertisement to “upgrade to a charge 4” and was given a code for $50 off.  Independent of the 35% off.  I went to redeem the $50 and the code said invalid.  Tried again.  Invalid.  Email them to ask what’s up- and they won’t let me use my $50 with 35% off.  But I never added 35% off - just the $50. So super shady, bad customer service- I’m going to pay the extra and use Apple moving forward.  Or buy a cheap one I expect to break.  Don’t send $50 off independent of your mistake and not let me use it- so so shady.

@christywag I don't really think it's shady. When you get the 35% off offer, they send you a link to your selections and it's good for 30 days. You can't use the 35% anywhere else, or combine offers. Sure, when I was new, would have been nice to like combine the 35% loyalty offer with a sale, but it doesn't work that way. And really, the 35% is about equal to regular sales prices anyway.
