I have a Fitbit Versa 1 and am wondering how the calories burnt are tracked when in a workout.
I select the generic "Workout" option under exercise just in case that matters.
When I do a 30 minute workout I burn about 400 calories.
Today I did the same amount of exercise (same exercises) but spread out over two hours and it says I burnt 1000 calories.
I'm wondering if the workout mode just adds a base amount of calories per minute regardless of if you're actively workout out at that time or if I some how did actually burn 4 times as much for the same amount of work.
