Quick Setting and Music Control opening when I view Notifications

When I open the notifications list on my Versa, a moment after the list renders, a pull down for Music and Quick Settings appears at the top of the screen. It pulls itself down and takes up 25% of the screen space.

It closes itself after a few seconds. 

 

I know this pull down exists on the notification screen, but I have no idea why it would "auto-pull-down" with no input.

Gets annoying when I want to check my notifications and I have to wrestle with this annoying drop down, which I do not need and have elsewhere. 

 

Any help?

Hello @Invalidxsyntax and warm welcome.  It looks like the firmware upgrade moved these features from the left button to the swipe down for Notifications.  There is a Feature Suggestion asking for a change.  Please vote for it and comment.  I did.
