I just got my Versa today after buying it from Amazon US (I'm in Mexico), and I was very disappointed to notice that the clock faces and apps are not working. I know the site says "Working on resolving"... but I will be returning it if this is not fixed in a week... I may evenbuy an apple watch now.

I got my Versa yesterday and I'm having the same problem. Very frustrating but it looks like they're aware of the issue and will fix it soon. For anyone who can't read the red (pink?) message:

"We are working to resolve an issue affecting device functionality, including syncing, setup/firmware updates, and downloading apps/clock faces from the App Gallery. Thank you for your patience while we work to get this resolved quickly!"

Pretty weak system if a server issue causes the watch to fail. "Sorry mate, you can't drive your car today.. our servers are down."

I got a couple of hours with the watch yesterday and woke up to this error today. I liked the specs of it, but it feels like an early access product. I reckon they are working on a fix, but if they haven't found one by tomorrow I will return it and pick something else..

I bought an Ionic, located in Germany, same problem. I cant get it to work. Please fix this or ill send that **ahem** back..

I think one of the main issue is that you can't save multiple watchfaces. Seems very weird coming from Android Wear. So when you have problems like this and try to switch watchfaces you just end up with an error message as your watchface. Which makes the Fitbit useless for telling time.

It seems that @Fitbit is aware of the problems. There is now a banner on the Versa forum announcing "We are working to resolve an issue affecting device functionality, including syncing, setup/firmware updates, and downloading apps/clock faces from the App Gallery. Thank you for your patience while we work to get this resolved quickly!"  Way to go. Thanks.

Guys, please reach out to news channels so that they are made aware of Fitbit's monumental failure...

I cannot even comprehend how a $250 standalone "smart" device's default home screen can't function when the mothership is down

This means it could go down anytime during the lifetime of the device... basically terrible, terrible design

A watch that doesn't show time out of the box.. this has to be the mother of all memes
