This product was released without appropriate testing. I called FitBit for a return label. After spending 3 hours attempting to install the device, in order for Fitbit to pay for the return postage I had to speak to a Versa engineer to attempt to resolve the issue. NO WAY. I'd rather pay the couple of dollars and go with another product (I have a Samsung Fit2, the only reason I bought this is Samsung does not integrate with the Sparkpeople app..) NEVER had these types of issues with any other manufacturer.
This isn't going away, folks, and I hope you consumers don't allow Fitbit to profit from their horrible product. Good luck!

I am trying to patiently wait for a resolution for this issue. However, I will be getting a full refund if this is not corrected soon.

So... what we are learning now is that if/when Fitbit gets bought, goes under, or simply decides to stop supporting this device for something new - then we'll all have a useless piece of junk that can barely tell the time if it weren't for the tiny clock in the top right of the error screen. We won't even have a generic clock face to fall back on. Greeeeeat.
Thanks Fitbit!

@JenaBee wrote:Haha!! I get that (and I quote)
"Spoiler alert: The Fitbit Versa is still more a fitness tracker with some smart functions, than a smartwatch with some fitness functions."
But (and a VERY BIG BUT), what good is a fitness tracker when you can't track even the time? It is stuck on yesterday at 0134 in the morning. hahahaha
Thank you for the boost of positivity though!! I appreciate it! 😉
DON'T TELL ANYBODY, but actually.... *whispers* I sold my Apple Watch and bought the Versa. I knew what I did, I had several Fitbits and *cough* also more than one Apple Watch and I've been in doubt for a while, but after all... the 'fit' part of fitbit is more important to me than the smart part of an AW. More fun in some sort of way, more motivating to keep moving. I know most people will think I'm nuts, and that's ok. And no: the 'smart' part of the Versa is.. well... not so smart. And it takes an hour (or a day in some cases...) to change a clock face (or even being able to *have* one), but hey.... it's a FITbit. 😉

Is this why my Versa has been slow and at time unresponsive since I had it on the charging dock yesterday? Because today my device is not acting at all like it had been in the week I’ve had it.

I’m having the same issues. Very disappointed. I have 30 days to return for full refund. This all should have ironed out before it was released to be sold. 😞
