The only thing it tracks well are steps.  Everything else doesn't work.  It is not waterproof - it does not track biking.  Its a sham

Where did you read that the Versa is waterproof @jjohnso?

All electronic devices, watches, phones ( even mechanical watches), or rated as water resistant to an X factor.

For your Versa it is about 150 feet in perfectly still water with a very slow descent.

Quick currents in a hot tub, under the shower stream, or diving, swimming in a strong current could all cause a possible failure.

You're kidding me, right?  Versa is promoted to withstand the water. It has tracking for swimming. Yet the device stops working when it goes in the water. What you say has zero connection with this issue that the versa is promoted able to handle the water and in fact track laps. You may win the semantics argument, yet your argument is nonsense. Yhe watch will not last in the water, lap swimming or just going in. NO ONE IS TALKING SBOUT DEEP SEA DIVING.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy , an AT&T LTE smartphone

Actually @Rich_Laue it states here

That the Versa 2 is swimproof so I would expect it to withstand more than a gentle descent into perfectly still water as when you're swimming you're pushing your arms into the water to propel you forward, hardly still.  Also the Versa 2 has an official IPX8 rating which means it can be worn for prolonged periods swimming in pools, lakes or oceans.  In fact only Charge 4 and Versa 2 have the official IPX8 rating none of the others do.

Thank you for pulling that up.  It's what we read when we bought the watch.  I simply did not remember the exact wording.  Yet you salvaged that.
