Recalculating kcal?

I was re-looking my burned kcal (per week) from last year. I noticed that the weekly average was lower then i remeber.

There in the app was standing that (for example) I burned 2.200 kcal on average in the first week of May 2023. I know that around that periode I was quite active and daily burned around 2.400/2.500 kcal a day. So I look though my old weekly updates from that period. And there was also standing that I burned around 2.450 kcal average per day.

What happend in the fitbit app that this isn't in sync anymore? Because all of my high active weeks are a lot lower in burned kcal then they were before (i checked some more weeks). Does anyone have an idea what happend?

Did you lose a bunch of weight?  There is a slight question of whether or not BMR calorie burn is actually stored with data, or recalculated each time you look at it based on current weight.  Not sure I actually that correctly - haven't thought about that for long time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

No, I'm stable at that point. And I do not really track that with my fitbit app.

Or they must have make some new re-calculations with that weight that was filled in from months ago?

The only thing i know that had changed, it that I went from a fitbit account to a google account. But I cannot inmagine that that would affect it.
