Receiving constant notifications for a deleted text message on Versa 2

I deleted a text chain and blocked the server a few weeks ago. I am constantly getting a notification on my Versa 2 for the final text, and no matter how many times I clear it, it keeps coming back. Any effort to mark as read, reply, etc. gives an error that the notification has expired and is no longer valid.

 

My phone has had a system update and been restarted since the messages have been deleted, and I'm running the most recent version of the firmware and app (Android). Any idea how I can get rid of this notification for good?
