Recent Android Phones compatible with Fitbit App?

Hi,

I got the Versa and do enjoy the device. I have an Android phone that is not fully compatible (my phone is an international version so the incompatibility is not on FitBit) and am looking to replace it. I do not want to buy a new phone only to have issues with compatibility. I notice that some phones do have compatibility even though they are not listed as fully supported.  Can someone recommend a newer Android phone made in 2017 or later that works with the FitBit app and the Versa in particular, since it only updates via the app?

Hello @rockermocking, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Please note that many Android phones, have all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but are currently not on our list of supported devicesThis means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. For the time being, we don't have an specific date or time-frame of when is going they will be listed as compatible but I would like to suggest you to check that list for a 2017-released phone of your choice.

I hope this can be helpful, check the list and if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello @Tsointsoin73, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

Please note that many Android phones, like the yours have all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but are currently not on our list of supported devicesThis means that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet. For the time being, we don't have an specific date or time-frame of when is going they will be listed as compatible.

Keep in mind that because the phone is not listed under our supported devices, that does not mean the phone will not work with the Fitbit app, but as we have not tested it yet, we cannot guarantee it will work flawlessly. While these devices has all the specifications to be compatible and are currently working with the Fitbit app, it's possible to come across some issues along the way.

I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
