Red x on Screen for Versa Lite..

Hi, can anyone help me please.

Why is it saying "data not cleared. Sync and try again" 

WTF.. can't even do factory reset.  

Help

@Pebs71, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the "data not cleared. Sync and try again" message that your Fitbit Versa is displaying.

 

Please try a regular restart as described in this help article. After this, try setting up your Versa as a new device and see if the issue gets fixed.

I've had the same problem with versa lite. The update didn't work, it's as if it's stuck. On the app, i hit update tracker and the fitbil looks like it's updating with the progress line going across the fitbit screen...my Iphone app even said it was up to 5%....but then I get the X on my fitbit screen. Tried disconnecting from my Iphone 10, got rid of hte app on my Iphone 10 .... then added the app on my Iphone 6 and started the update. After about 40 minutes of what looked like it was going to be a successful update it stopped...nothing. So I clicked on update tracker again, on the phone app, again in about 40 minutes nothing....then I clicked update tracker again....now it's giving me the red X on the fitbit screen again. Frustrating! This is a replacement VersaLite becasue the one I bought last spring flaked out on me...now I'm unable to do the update. Too much time clicking and following the suggestions on here but still no luck. If this one isn't fixed soon, I'm not so sure I won't be getting an apple watch. Tired of this!

Hi, I feel ur pain.. yes I had all of that with a wish and hope it would update.. just keeps requesting to download.. I spoke to support and waiting for a replacement.. this will be the last chance with Fitbit.. good luck with ur replacement..

Hi.. no go.. keeps requesting u to update.. when u do, it fails.. I have a replacement on its way.. it's the last chance scenario for fitbit..

My exact same issue and what I have been trying. Did you ever resolve this or go with the Apple Watch. I'm frustrated!

There maybe a number on their website but I gave up after months of trying to fix the problem! Good luck!
