Just bought a new Fitbit Versa from SportsCheck (Canada). How do I register the device to start triggering the one-year warranty? I was told in the store that I need to do the registration but I can't find where to do it on the App.
Any guidance?
Thanks

There isn't a registration process but fitbit will know when you started using it from when you set it up on their servers.
I assume that SportsCheck is an authorised seller in your country (otherwise fitbit's warranty won't apply). You can check at https://www.fitbit.com/retailers

Hello everyone. @roxburyrippon It's nice to see you around!
@roxburyrippon You're correct. You don't need to register your Fitbit device to a form or website for the warranty, however, it is require that you set up your Fitbit device to a Fitbit account, which is actually the normal set up process.
See you around.

Hi Wilson, I'm from Singapore. And I've got a Charge 4. I can't seem to figure out how to activate the warranty for it until I came across this forum thread.
Is the warranty activation process for the Charge 4 the same as what have been mentioned? Even in Singapore? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

So, if I have a problem with my Fitbit in, let's say, 11 months, but I've lost my receipt, I have no way of proving when I bought it, therefor setting me up to not be covered? Nice ploy Fitbit, seem like this is an intentional means of not having to pay out. This is disturbing way to sell and "Support" small fragile electronic products.
