Hello @bbran

Please look to make sure your DND (do not disturb) mode or Sleep mode has accidentally been enabled. If it is enabled notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move don't cause the watch to vibrate or the screen to turn on.
😃 Let me know if this helps and resolved the issue.

That's what's so weird about this, my alarms, the timer, the visual reminder that I got the 250 steps, occasionally the distance notice for 0.5 miles on a hike all work visually and most vibrate, but the reminder to move does not.  However, I checked just now, and without ever going into DND, yes it was turned on.  So, given that, why did I get any notifications?

Partly related, the distance notification for a hike has only intermittently worked since the day I bought the watch.

Hello again @bbran

As I suspected your DND was enabled which will prevent notifications from coming in. You stated that you were getting other notifications despite the DND was enabled. There’s really no telling when your DNS was enabled or that it’s quite possible you may have accidentally turned it off and on again sporadically during the day. It’s quite possible, given the buttons are so small and easily triggered, that you can mistakenly enabled the feature several times a day. So that would be difficult to answer. But I’m happy knowing your original question as to why your reminders to move was figured out. Hopefully you might notice a pattern of when you might be accidentally enabling the DND so you can be cautious of it.
😃 I hope you have an amazing day. Please consider marking my previous response as best answer as it helps others who come to this site looking for answers to questions similar to what you were experiencing.

Thanks.  Its odd that DND could get turned on and off when I never go to it.  In fact, its especially odd given one has to tap settings, then DND, then one of it's settings to change it.

It is @bbran …I’ve done it myself several times as well. It can be frustrating at times for sure.
