Responding to text messages

My husband and I both have the versa and neither of us are able to respond to texts any more.  We had been able to previously.

Thanks for letting me know that you and your husband have Versa devices, and I'm sorry to hear that the quickly replies aren't working correctly. There are some factors that may affect this feature, and I'd like to verify the following information:

  • Your phone's model and OS version.
  • The Fitbit app is updated to the 3.0 version.
  • Your Fitbit device and phone are within 20 feet.
  • To avoid any interference, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  • If you use more than one device to sync, make sure the other device isn't nearby.

In the meantime, please try the following steps:

  1. Remove your device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and wait until it syncs.
  3. Then tap the Account icon > Fitbit device image > Notifications.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to setup the notifications and quickly replies.
