Is there a way to start recording a run with the versa lite exercise app on the watch and then back out to the watch face without pausing or ending the exercise? I need to be able to get back to the watch face to check the time as well as check my blood glucose level (displayed on the watch face). Thanks!

Hello @Fonesj1983 and a warm welcome. The exercise app must run in the foreground. But I have a suggestion for you that I believe will help you and others need to see other watch face choices.
There is a way of starting and stopping a run on the Fitbit phone app. It is a feature Fitbit calls MobileRun. To use MobileRun, tap on your exercise tile on your app > tap on the stopwatch > make sure the toggle is slid to track. The only choices are run, walk and hike. Starting and stopping are pretty self-explanatory.
You will get a GPS map at the end of your run. You will still have your watch face for checking your glucose.
Fitbit developed and released MobileRun before any of its trackers had an exercise app. For a while, it was the only way to get a GPS map. Some users like MobileRun because it has voice cues.
Sometimes users get duplicate records because the tracker auto-recognizes the run while the app is also tracking the run. They don't necessarily "talk" to each other. The way around this is to turn off the run auto-recognition.
I hope this helps.

@Fonesj1983 once you have started the recording of the Run, simply swipe left 3X to get to the current Time.

@Rich_Laue I agree that the current time can be shown in the real time stats. But the exercise app must run in the foreground, making it impossible to use the exercise app and a glucose app at the same time.

@LZeeW the question was how to see the time during a run.
The second question of how to see Glucose is really mute since the fitbit can not read blood suger. The app simply display the Dexcom history and not live data.
