This is one for those Versa 2 owners whose device is stuck in a reboot loop, i.e. the fitbit logo appears when restarting, then keeps disappearing and reappearing until the battery quickly discharges to zero.
I solved this intransigent issue with my device by applying a *more-than-moderate-amount* of pressure for several seconds when pressing in the button. I had previously tried all of the other suggested remedies to no avail: uninstalling and reinstalling the app; deleting the device and all other fitbit devices from my account; trying 8-second button presses; trying to factory reset the device with button unpress after the fitbit logo appears; discharging the battery to nothing then fully charging the device. None of these supposed fixes worked and I was looking at having to buy a new device and my device was just over 2 year's old, so out of warranty,
Obviously, this is not an official fix, it is a workaround, so I would treat it as a last resort option, when for example no other fix has worked and you are having to face discarding it .there's always a risk of damaging your device. Proceed with caution.
I believe that over time, the electrical connection inside or beneath the button degrades and causes it to stick shut -- which would make the device think that it is constantly being pressed. Several seconds of pressure out of the normal range may serve to loosen and reset the connection.
My Versa 2 has been fine ever since.

Hi there @hellagood! It's great to see you here in the Community!
Thank you so much for your efforts in trying to solve this situation and for sharing the solution with us.
Whenever the Fitbit logo appears on the display I would also recommend to follow the troubleshooting steps described in this article too.
