SPO2 watch face is really really really bad

It appears you have to have the clock face selected when you sleep for the SPO2 reading to appear.  I get that, but no matter how often I go to sleep with it selected, I wake up with something else selected. Haven't gotten a reading in forever. Major design flaw. But that isn't my real question.

If I uninstall the watch, which is what I lean towards because it sucks, that also removes the value from the health metrics dashboard. Which I just realized I'm not getting anyway because the SPO2 function is so non-functional. So I've answered my own question. So frustrating waiting for Fitbit to get it right.

Does this work better on other watches?

I assume you do realize that clock face has 5 screens; if you tap the screen, accidental or intended, it shifts to show a different stat but is still on the SpO2 clock face, which you can get back looking the same by tapping again.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yup, I was assuming that the actual spo2 face has to be selected. I'm a restless sleeper and often wake up with it on heart rate, or on steps or whatever. If it can just be on that clock face, then I'm even more frustrated because I don't know why it doesn't work. I get a reading maybe twice a week. And the watch is on the same tightness, and same hand and not covered by clothes, etc etc.
