Screen flickers and battery drain

I've had my Versa for 4 months now and it has been behaving fairly well until now. This weekend the battery suddenly started dropping really quick. After a full recharge I'm now down to 42% with 4 hours of normal use. In addition my screen flickers, with vertical white bars all over, and the resolution is lower than normal.

Has there been a software update prior to this weekend that could have gone wrong? I don't believe it's a coincidence with all of this happening at the same time.

I have tried to restart with buttons and I have tried to turn off via settings. Going to try a factory reset now. In the meantime I'm hoping for some help.
