Every time I try to open my settings app on my versa 2 it shows the icon and then reverts back to the home screen. I have reset it three times and it still won't open...

I've seen another post ( @Julia_G copied for info) with this issue that required a factory reset to fix. This is normally done via the settings app but in this situation that's a bit tricky. There is a complicated way of doing it using just the buttons but it's probably best to do this under the guidance of customer support as it can get messy. You can get them via contact.fitbit.com

Hi, @HappyElla , I can confirm that an ordinary reset won’t fix this (or at least repeated tries did not), nor did it work to let the battery die down completely and then recharge.

My Today app was also not working (same thing - showed the icon then reverted to clock face), but all other apps were fine.

The factory reset is quite tricky, as @SteveH says, if you cannot do it vis the menu.  Also it may require further workrounds (mine did) if the reset is only partially successful.  Hopefully you can be guided through this by Customer Support.

If you do have to resort to the factory reset be aware that you will have to reinstall any music or cards you have added and readd your password, etc.  If you have a clock face you really like you might want to note what its name is before you reset as there are so many these days it might be hard to find it again!

The good news is that my Versa is now back working just fine with no further issues.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
