My son is only seven so he will not have his phone with him while he’s at school but he will have his watch on. Is there a way for me to share my location with him having his phone just in his watch… He is one of my friends on my Fitbit but it’s a way to try to help with his anxiety to know that I’m always with him

You are a good mom @Boymom2011 to be thinking of ways to help your son with his anxiety. Unfortunately, without the phone near his Fitbit, he won't get anything from you. But, there is one way you can remind him that you're thinking of him. Before he leaves for school, have some silent alarms set so when they go off, he'll know that is a buzz from his loving mom. When an alarm is set and it's been synced, the phone and device don't have to be close for the alarm to work. I know he's a bit young to be wearing a Versa. How is he doing with it so far? Also, have you explored the use of some fidget type devices to keep in his pocket and that he can touch when he feel a bit stressed? I know parents who use a variety of small items, including pom poms that their child can touch and feel more relaxed.

I’ve explored the use of ALMOST EVERYTHING!!! This was at the suggestion of his counselor bc we’ve tried so much stuff and I’m not ready to do meds for his anxiety just yet. Thank you for your response! I’m gonna do the alarms and hopefully he will have some relief with that!!!!

@Boymom2011 you're amazing. We do have to be the advocate for our children and you're the best judge of what helps him. Remind him that the little buzz of the alarm is the same as you hugging him! Let us know how this works for you both. No telling how many parents are dealing with something similar and knowing your results will help them.

Thank you very much. As a single mom, it’s Garda but I am his vice!
