I've been thinking about getting a fitbit for a while now but after doing a lot of research, it looks like there are a ton of complaints including a lot in this sub about how a bunch of the models, especially the Versa 3, don't last more than a year and fitbit refuses to help you out if your warranty is done. I really don't want to spend over $150 on something that'll just crap out and be replaced in less than two years. Is it too much of a gamble to get a fitbit?

Hi @neil021 - it pays to do your research, as you have seen there are issues, especially with the more recent models and also features being removed all round. If battery life is important to you then perhaps a Garmin may suit better, as it has more features, or Apple but then you have to charge daily..

I’m with you too. I’ve had Versa 2 replaced now 3 times. Wondering if I should stay with Fitbit.
They have honored with a free replacement when under warranty, so great customer service so far.
