I get two different kinds of displays when I'm looking at my sleep log. This morning when I looked at my log and clicked on today's date, a blocky line graph was displayed. The times were off so I went about changing them. After a couple of adjustments, the display changed from the graph to straight lines. Why does this happen?

@sguenthe please back out one page from your screen shot.
The page we want has the graph at the top.
Below the graph, you should either see your answer or a message saying we don't know why.
Here is an example

OK, I understand what you showed me. However, when I go to the sleep record
for several days ago when it happened, the "marching lines" still show, and
not the graph. Based on your "3 hours to calculate" statement, shouldn't the
older day one be recalculated?

Still no answer. If it takes more than 3 hours to calculate, the why does a graph from several days ago not show the squared off graph. Indeed if that's so then why does the graph show up sometimes the very first time I look at it, just minutes after a sync? Reply does not make sense to me.

I didn't say that it takes three hours to calculate, the sleep period needs to be at less 3 hours long.
Is your heart rate on?
I'm not sure what is meant by squared off graph? Is it sleep stages or simple sleep?

See my original query for the two images I attached. I like the graph that shows sleep stages but what I'm seeing now doesn't show them.

Yes, heart rate on... now showing 64 next to the pulsing heart symbol.

See my image, you should possibly see a reason for not seeing sleep stages.

nahhhh.. i have been having the same issue (as do some others on here) for about a month now... it WAS showing sleep stages fine... now just "basic" sleep data

First step @budon. is to check what the app says.
Can't say what end it is on, but can say that there are many posts throughout these forums where Fitbit has admitted that they are working on problems.

@sguenthe @budon just to add to what @Rich_Laue has already said, do you have any sleep presets set up in the Fitbit mobile app, e.g. bedtimes? If yes, remove them and reboot your devices.

@budon and just to confirm: your versa syncs without any issues ? Also, when you go to www.fitbit.com , to Versas settings, is sleep tracking set to Normal or Sensitive? It should be normal.

Do I have any presets? Uhhhh. no. Never set up any, wouldn't want to, don't
know how to. I use it simply to record sleep.

Yes, my Versa Lite syncs with no prob. Sleep track setting? Don't even know
where to set it any more. I changed it a couple of times with my old "one"
but that's gone now (removed from acct). So, it's set to default, which I
would guess is "normal" and not "Sensitive". Looking at my profile from my
laptop I don't even see where it would show up.

@sguenthe For presets, please do the following:
For the Sleep tracking sensitivity, please go to www.fitbit.com to your Dashboard, click on the Settings icon in the top right corner and click on the name of your tracker. Now, please take a look at the screenshot below:

Did it, worked fine, no presets. BTW, your "screenshot" never made it.

OK, found it on my laptop. Sleep setting = normal. Yesterday the graph was fine, showing me light/rem/deep sleep spans. Today, just the bar graph again. Don't think it's me, but Fitbit itself.
