I am opening this topic here because I have tried EVERYTHING suggested to get my Versa to track my sleep with even a vague accuracy.
It simply doesn't work consistently at all.
I have patiently waited for months for Fitbit to come up with a solution to this issue but constantly read the implication that it is user-error.
Tonight a moderator of a previous thread decided to close it - whilst many of us were faithfully waiting for a promised helpful response which never came!
I guess that is Fitbit saying "It doesn't work - live with it! You're on your own!"
Shame on you Fitbit!

Not only do I have tattoos on the inside of my wrists (not on the outside), but I shouldn't have to do that. I have never had any issues with any other tracker before. This is a Fitbit issue, not a me issue.
Best AnswerFair enough, but that doesn't work for everyone. I know that it won't work with my tattoos, so here I am. I refuse to buy a new one as I just got this like 3 months ago and it's been an issue (that Fitbit knows about) from the get go.
If it's still under warranty you can file a claim and probably get a new one. I think the warranty is a year. Mine is working fine, so it's only an issue with sooner if the versas.
Okay, that's encouraging. I have reached out to support already and am waiting to hear back. Thanks!
Best Answera friend tried that and it worked for her really well
I've also found that if I tighten it by one notch before I go to sleep I get a really accurate sleep reading as well
Best AnswerWhat did your friend try? Also, mine is plenty tight.
Best AnswerHi
She put in on the inside of her wrist just as she went to bed she found it really helped
I don't do that as I find it uncomfortable..but as I said I move it to roughly 2 finger lengths above the wrist bone and tighten by one notch that seems to work for me
