Last year I noticed that the sleep data that my fitbit was recording started to decrease. At first it was only by a few hours but now it's only showing I'm sleeping an hour or less per night. I was using a charge 2 and thought the device was defective so I tried a charge 3 which was getting the same results. I am now trying a versa lite and again its only showing an hour or less per night. I know I'm sleeping more than it's recording but I'm getting really frustrated with the poor tracking of my sleep.

Are you telling the app to "Begin Sleep Now" or are you just falling asleep normally with the watch on? Normally if you sleep for less than 60 minutes without telling the app, nothing at all gets logged. I would also be curious as to how much time awake was logged by fitbit during that sleep study. If you toss and turn a lot naturally it could potentially be confusing the watch.

I've been trying the "Sleep now" function and I'm still getting the same result. Last night it said I only slept about an hour and a half which I know is incorrect.
