Is anyone else having issues with being able to see their sleep stages? I had issues when I first got the Fitbit and then worked one day, then went back to not working. All I get is whether I was awake or asleep. No score, and won’t give the light,deep, or rem sleep. I’ve asked Fitbit and got a generic answer that didn’t help.

Yes, I have had the same issue. Some nights I will receive a my sleep stage and my sleep score. Then some nights only a sleep stage and no sleep score. And a few nights I have nothing is recorded. I am wearing the watch the same arm, have not adjusted any settings.

Hello,

Yes, that has affected me too.  What you have to do is in the app, go to the Wear Your Fitbit to bed section, click in (not the plus sign) then when you are in the section, go to the top right, and click the plus.  Then hit the begin sleep now button.  You can now go to sleep, and it will track your sleep with the rem sleep stages and all.  When you wake up, press the I'm awake button and you should be able to view your stats.

 

If that does not work:

Go to the Discover page, then hit Health and Fitness stats, then hit sleep. Then, hit the ADD TO TODAY button. There is now a sleep function in your watch, and it should track your sleep with the stages.  If that does not work, I'd suggest emailing or calling the Fitbit company, or looking for a more helpful reply.

This is how I do it every night, I still get do not get a consistent reading.

I’ve done both of those. And also contacted Fitbit. I get an explanation that sleep score has been downloaded but no info as to what that really is and a mention of the premium subscription. I asked them to be more specific and if premium is what I needed to get the insight. They said purchasing was optional but did not answer the question again. Other than getting a replacement Fitbit within two hours, I’m disappointed with how things are running.
