Sleep score slightly different on each Fitbit model

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

.In our house we have three different Fitbits (a Charge 2, a Charge 3 and a Versa) and each of us see a slightly different sleep score.

The charge 2 gets a score + a comment (poor, fair, good etc) and is still able to see graphs of sleep for 1 month, 3 months and 1 year.

The charge 3 displays a score and a comment such as ‘Good night’s rest’ or ‘Catch more Zzz’s’ (the latter comment even when the sleep target had been exceeded !)

The Versa simply gives a sleep score - no comment whatsoever.

Please sort it this feature so that is consistent across devices and gives more meaningful information.

The current sleep score feature gives the impression that it has been rolled out without proper testing ...

Hi @Mononoke242 welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for sharing your experienced about your sleep score information. Your sleep score helps you understand your sleep each night so you can see trends in your sleep patterns. You won't be getting the same information every day since your overall nightly sleep score is based on your heart rate, the time you spend awake or restless, and your sleep stages.

Your overall sleep score is a sum of your individual scores in sleep duration, sleep quality, and restoration, for a total score of up to 100. Most Fitbit users get a score between 72 and 83. Sleep score ranges are:

  • Excellent: 90-100
  • Good: 80-89
  • Fair: 60-79
  • Poor: Less than 60

To help improve your sleep score, work on your overall sleep habits, heart health, and activity levels:

I'd like to know more details about how you're using your Fitbit devices to track your sleep score. Are you using the same Fitbit account to compare your data? Have you tried to use an specific model for at least a week?  This might help you to get more deep information for each device. You can also share with us the information that your Fitbit devices are reporting in the Fitbit app, see more details on how to post an screenshot in the Fitbit Community.

By the way, I’ve moved your post to the Versa Smartwatches board to have a better chance to get the correct response for your inquiry.

Keep me posted on the resolution.
