Sleep tracking off

I downloaded the new Bitmoji clock face to my Versa last week. Ever since I changed it to that clock face my sleep log hasn’t been very accurate. Sleep log doesn’t even show on my versa. It only shows in the fit bit app after being synced. Over the weekend when I had it off for about an hour. It thought I was sleeping. Which was weird because it was just sitting on my bed. 😧 It’s a bit annoying because my sleep log was pretty accurate until I changed my clock face to Bitmoji. 😑 I don’t really want to change my clock face yet. Any other ways to try and fix this before I do that? Thank you!

@cheryljane The time sleep was recorded when you were not wearing the tracker was probably caused by faulty reading of HR. It can happen - to avoid that make sure you place your Versa on the side or belly up so the sensor cannot read anything. 🙂 As per clockface, you can try rebooting the tracker to see if that helps, but you could also change the clockface for now to make sure that this is really the reason for the issues with the sleep tracking you've been observing.

My Versa was actually laying on its side. Whenever I take it off or have it off for a while. I always set it down on its side and sometimes sensor side up. I’ve been trying to reboot my tracker for a few days now but I can’t seem to reboot it. I may just change my clock face again to see if it is the Bitmoji one that has affected my sleep log accuracy. Thank you.

@cheryljane I am assuming you have Versa not Versa Lite. To reboot you can either:

  1. Press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo appears
  2. Open Settings app on your Versa, scroll down to About, tap it, scroll down to Shutdown and tap it. Wait 30 seconds, the screen should go completely dark (not merely black). Now, press the left button to power Versa on.

My best gut feeling is the clockface is messing up your tracker. If it's making it unresponsive, I would definitely switch it. Lemme know how it goes! 🙂
