Hi everyone! I bought a Versa last Friday and one day later, it had a small crack in the top left corner. It's not really noticeable and it's doesn't feel like a big groove when I pass over it with my finger. I've contacted Fitbit but they told me cosmetic damage is not covered by their limited warranty and then they offered me a 25% special discount on a new product. I bought this less than a week ago! I'm frustrated that the Versa screen is so fragile that it didn't withstand 24 hours of normal wear. I've noticed that others have complained about similar cracks in the screen and I'm confused why some are given a refund or replacement with no problem and others are waved away.

@VivienneP If you bought it from a retailer other than Fitbit, they might take it back or exchange it. I recommend a glass screen protector. It really begs the question, though, why screen protectors don't scratch but the Versa screen, which is supposed to be gorilla glass, scratches easily.

I agree! It should be more resistant. I bought it at Staples (in Canada) and originally I argued that they didn't offer me their accidental damage warranty but they said it isn't offered for fitness watches. I was told I had 2 weeks to return it but I doubt they would take it back now that it has a crack.

It's great to see you participating in the Community @VivienneP and @meresydotes thanks for stopping by.
I am sorry to hear about what happened with your Versa display and would like to know if you have contacted our support team, have they offered a solution for this?
Keep me posted.

Yes, I contacted them twice. The first time I was told they don't cover cosmetic damage and the second time I was offered a 25% discount on a new product.
