Some exercise data missing on Versa 2

Logged a one-hour workout on my Versa 2 yesterday, and later that night, an approximately 30 minute walk. Look my activity before bed, the workout does not appear, and only 11 minutes of the walk is logged  - on Versa 2 itself, app (Android), and desktop dashboard. Any thoughts as to the cause and a solution?

my steps keep resetting to a lower number than i had. i restarted, and shut down versa and problem continues
