SpO2 sensor on Versa LITE?

I already know that SpO2 technology is on the Versa. Is it on the Versa Lite? Also, for bonus, is it on the Inspire HR? The product pages don't mention anything. I'm trying to replace my broken Alta, and I'm stuck choosing between the Versa Lite and the Inspire HR.

Hi, the Lite version has the SpO2 sensor, but as with the Versa, it's not functional. See this review, in which the comparison between the Versa and the Lite is summarized:  https://gadgetsandwearables.com/compare/1/707,858/fitbit-versa-vs-fitbit-versa-lite/

Thank you so much for this confirmation!! Can you believe that I contacted chat support and they said it didn't have it? Awful support. I believe they were googling it because they gave me some of the same answers that I found via google.

Oh well replies don't go directly on each individual people. I'll just...erase this one. By writing over it. How awkward.

From your experience as a sleep score tester, how ready is this thing? Tired of waiting. Was also late to join.

I personally do not understand what or how the developers think, to me they take way to much time releasing updates.

However in the past few years Fitbit has added features that had thousands of votes and within a day we have a suggestion with a hundred votes to have this much requested features removed.

To make it a little clear, I don't really blame the developers since there are big differences between a feature and an update.

A feature is something new that needs more testing and even an FDA approval before being shipped to consumers. It is supposed to be something that has totally been worked on from the scratch and need vigorous testing before going out.

An update is a modified layer/fixes to an already existing feature. It isn't a new thing but improvements to an already existing thing. Those are easy and don't take time.

Sp02 is a NEW feature, Sleep Score is a new feature....we don't have them on our watches yet and the main reason they need serious testing before coming to us, they can even get cancelled if things don't go well...these are different from updates that can be an improvement to the already existing sleep tile or HR monitoring on the watches/app.

The FDA has a guidance document for "pulse oximeters" - spo2 sensors. "The use of the word should in Agency guidances means that something is suggested or recommended, but not required."  https://www.fda.gov/RegulatoryInformation/Guidances/ucm341718.htm

So there is no regulatory reason for not allowing Fitbit users to see the spo2 data from their devices.

I wonder if the spo2 sensor is active and uploading data to Fitbit developers.
