Hello,

I'm new in the Fitbit universe and got myself today a new versa. I read in the internet, that there is an app to remote control Spotify. Unfortunately I'm not able to find the app in the Fitbit app store.

Hopefully some of you guys can help me out.

Maybe I can't find the app because i live in germany.

That was just announced today and is coming with the Versa 2 in a few weeks.  I'm not sure if it will be available for other trackers.

Looks like they have removed it now that the Versa2  comes with it preloaded. This really sucks for those of us with the original Versa. Certainly hope they make it available again. 

I have no plans of buying another Versa and am happy with the original

They have removed the app from their list of available add ones 😞

I'm not sure of this since I never used it so didn't pay any attention to it, but I vaguely remember something about a 3rd-party app to control Spotify.  Maybe that just got removed in preparation for the official Fitbit app,

It was there before, I considered downloading it. When I saw that the new Versa had it I went looking for it and it had been removed. I really hope they bring it back as I would like to try it.

Though I assume you do understand, it does not let you store Spotify music on the Versa as for Pandora; rather it controls Spotify on your phone.

Yes, I do understand that, though now there isn’t even an option to have the Spotify app on my Versa at all.
