Spotify Premium Account keeps disconnecting

Hello,

 

When I want to control my spotify via my Versa 2, it keeps disconnecting. Everytime I need to go into the Spotify app in the Fitbit app and reconnect my premium account. This is getting SUPER annoying! Is there any way to ensure that my spotify account stays connected?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand how you're feeling about this matter and I'm sorry that you're having this experience. I'll be here to help you with this. Just to confirm, is the issue just with the connection or does the Spotify app also revert to a free version instead of Premium?

There are some factors that may prevent the Spotify app to work correctly, so make sure:

  • Your phone has access to the internet, either through WiFi or a cellular data signal.
  • Your watch is connected to your phone via Bluetooth and syncing regularly with the Fitbit app.
  • The Spotify app in your watch and Fitbit app in your phone are updated.
  • Your watch and phone are nearby.
  • You're logged in to the correct Spotify Premium Account.

That said, if you've not done so I'd recommend to remove your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings, reboot your phone, restart your watch, sync with the Fitbit app and try using the Spotify app to monitor its behavior.

I am currently experiencing the same problem.  I have completed all the steps you (moderator) mentioned several times.  Still the problem persists.  I am close to returning my fitbit to the store.

The problem pertains to Spotify.... but also some apps seem to not connect with my phone. Finally I also notice that the wifi connection keeps disconnecting even though it's properly set up and all other gadgets connected to the wifi work just fine...

Also in the morning I don't automatically see how much sleep I got on the phone. I have to synchronize my phone first before seeing it on my watch. Is that normal?
