Spotify on Versa Lite

I am a new Fitbit user and I would like to add Spotify to my versa lite but I am unable to do so. I have tried updating and restarting and reinstalling yet nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP! Thanks

Sorry, but Versa Lite does not include Spotify control.

Right you are.  It appears to be an error, though on Spotify rather than Fitbit.  I did find on Fitbit site that it is not supported, though it took some digging.

I have tried to notify Fitbit about this apparent discrepancy.

@ElissaP your initial post doesn't give any detail on why you can't get Spotify. I'm confused at what you are updateing, and why you can't install Spotify. Do you have the option to install Spotify.

The Spotify app is in the "app store" on my Fitbit app. When I go to
install is is greyed out and says to be sure my app and Fitbit are both up
to date. I did the update and it looks as though the firmware is the same
as it was before the update. Tried to install Spotify again and it is still
greyed out. I have checked online and many places say versa lite supports
Spotify.

I found the one you mentioned on the Spotify site.  Have you others on the Fitbit site?

I've been googling and there are other websites that walk you through the
process for the versa lite and also other community forums on Fitbit that
pop up with others saying it works with theirs. Also, on the description
for the app on Fitbit it says with the whole versa, family, which I took to
mean the versa lite as well. Of course, I'm not sure if Spotify or Fitbit
writes the descriptions.

As it turns out, the spotify app is compatible with my versa lite, however, I apparently have to wait for another firmware update that they roll out in waves so there is no timeframe when the update will be available to me. If this information had been posted somewhere easy for fitbit customers to find maybe I wouldn't have wasted so much time trying to find an answer. Very frustrating; waste of time and money!
