In old versions of the firmware you started a workout with the bottom right button. After one specific update you now start it by touching an on-screen button. This is incredibly annoying to do as the button regularly does not respond and you have to touch it 5 times to register. Doing this on the move is frustrating to no end, not to mention potentially dangerous. Is there any way the physical button can be used for starting a workout? They are still used for pausing and stopping which is OK. Why do things like this HAVE to be constantly changed in firmware updates? As with many things in various devices, it seems that changes are made just for the sake of changing something and calling it an improvement.

Completely agree - this is a stupid change, particularly as the on screen button is so unresponsive. Honestly it does make me wonder if anyone at Fitbit actually uses their own products, such a glaring backward step to remove the start button support 😞
