Stats doubled on Versa / iPhone sync

For the last two days, my Versa stats have doubled after I sync with my iPhone SE. I'm aware of the floors problem (I walk/run in the cold) and don't care about that, but my step and mileage count double on sync. Everything else (heart rate, sleep stats) is working normally. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app and restarted my Versa (have not done a factory reset). I'm assuming this is an app issue. Anyone else had this problem?

Do you have any other tracking apps connected?  I have read of such problems there; I think there is  solution but don't remember it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
