Step tracking gets paused

Hello 

I seem to be having problems with my Fitbit Versa when I’m doing an intense workout (and my wrist gets a bit sweaty) it doesn’t seem to be accurately tracking my steps, and when I have my running app active it keeps pausing.....any ideas or tips on how to solve this, and is it a common issue with smart watches or just Fitbit?

I regret to hear that you are experiencing difficulties to register your intense workouts with your Fitbit Versa.

 

I would like to clarify that this is not a common issue. If you haven't done it, please perform a restart to your Versa by following these steps.

In addition, please verify if the Auto Pause settings or the Exercise Cues on your Fitbit account are not causing your exercise to get paused. You can find this information if you go online to fitbit.com > Settings > Devices

 

As a tip, we recommend letting the band air dry after exercising. For more recommendations to wear and care your watch, please visit this site.
