Steps don’t sync correctly to step challenges

I currently have the versa 2, it’s about a year old now and worked perfectly fine until i got a new phone and switched the watch to the new one, iphone 11. Since then my steps don’t sync correctly to step challenges, for example say i walked 1000 steps it will never count the exact amount and at the end of workweek hustles i’m thousands of steps under than what is actually on my daily steps. i don’t use other things to count steps and i don’t manually put them in, i’ve tried deleting the app, removing the watch everything.

When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
