I am currently sitting down and my Versa 2 has gone from 14,992 to 15,242 steps. Is my Fitbit defective?

Hi @KathrynKathyKat That doesnt sound good. What are you doing while sitting? Sometimes activities that involve a lot of hand movements will register as steps (for example playing the guitar or piano, crochet or knitting).

Try restarting your Versa several times and see if it still does it.
