Fitbit Only recording steps not miles, despite being set up for both. Connection is Good. Watch is synced with app on phone. Forced closed the App . Restarted watch and phone. Still not working. 7600 steps doesn’t equal 0 miles.

@Fit_aspie Many other users are seeing this, too. It might be a bug in the automatic stride length. Please try the following workaround. Tap on your profile picture/gear icon in the upper right, then Exercise. Look for the Stride Length setting and toggle the automatic option off. This worked for some users. I don't have this issue with my Fitbit, so I can't confirm that it will work consistently.

As our friend LZeeW mentioned. This has been reported already. Our Team is aware of the issue with the distance and is working on a solution for this.
