My issue was that the GPS would not connect to my phone or if it did it would pause and not start back up so I ended up with a bike ride that showed only my heart rate. So here is what worked for me.
1. I would turn off the WiFi (not sure why I had to do this)
2. I went into the settings in biking in the watch and turned off Auto-Pause
3. I would swipe down on my Fitbit app and refresh it just before I started my bike ride and then immediately I would click on “Bike” in my watch and the GPS would connect and stay connected.
My question is, why should I have to do any of this???? I spent $200 on a watch that I have to jump through hoops with to get it to do what it should do on its own.
If you were having the same problem that I was having, give it a try
