Hi All,
I am not receiving the battery low notification emails any more since end of april.
I have checked the email notification settings and they are active.
What else can we check?
Thx.
Best regards,
Miro

Sadly, Fitbit, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to discontinue the Low Battery Email Notification. My watch has died countless times since April since I'm just not in the habit of swiping right and viewing my battery status multiple times per day. Also, I'm surprised that no one is moderating this forum and no one responded to such a simple query. Fitbit fitness products have become so unreliable and so undesirable for me that I have decided to dump this piece of sh1t and buy an Apple Watch. No one stands in line to buy a Fitbit product (e.g. at Best Buy, Target, etc.) but they do for Apple products. I thought things would be better under Google's leadership but it seems they have gotten much worse including customer support. I'm making the move away from Android and Fitbit to Apple where the rest of the world lives.

Apple is no option for me. Sorry, but I dont like apple Software and the apple watch battery is lasting only 2 days or less. And I don't need all the klim-bim... Only the health data and exercise things.
I guess the goal of google was to get the sensor part of Fitbit into their google watches, fade out Fitbit and that's what we are facing right now.
I think, if I move away from Fitbit, I want something more mature and professional in this area, but not Apple, more something in the Garmin direction...

I understand how you feel. I hope whatever you choose works out well for you. Garmin makes a fine product. My first wearable was the Forerunner 305. A bit large on the wrist but probably smaller than most for the time (i.e. circa 2010). Good luck!

@miro Thanks for posting your question. I just thought I was charging my Inspire before the email notifications were being sent, but today, my battery percentage was pretty low, so I checked my email. There was no email, and on top of that, my mobile push notification was not sent either, even though I have the option selected. After reading @HMJFIT's post, I checked my settings, and the email notification option is gone.
I can't believe yet another thing has been removed from us regarding our needs. What gets me is that the feature already existed; why take it away? These are things that us Fitbit users have grown to appreciate. Was there any survey sent out asking if people would mind losing another feature? So far, we have lost the web dashboard, and the profile page (only place to see lifetime stats), what else is going away?

As @miro suggested, this might be a business strategy. I've experienced so many annoying and unreliable aspects to the three Fitbit products I've owned and customer support that couldn't do much to help, that I've decided it's time to join the rest of the world and go with an Apple product. I'd rather spend my time on my workout than my fitness watch 😉
