Hi there, the strap on my watch has recently broken and when I have removed it the end of the locator pin has sheared off and is stuck in the hole so I cannot get a now strap to attach. Has anyone any ideas on how to solve this? I can’t remove the price of pin and it seems to me that the device is now unusable. I have had it since Christmas, which I don’t think is very long.
Hi @Colinjohnsonuk you might get a jeweler to help you, with their fine tools, to remove the pin. As for the band, it could be replaced by Fitbit. Click here to file a claim on your device's in-warranty Fitbit band. Let us know what happens.
Best AnswerThanks, unfortunately it’s not as simple as that as the pin has snapped below the hole so it’s imposeible to ge out.
I have contacted customer services to see if the device can be replaced.
