Stupid Versa keeps pausing during running

I ran about 2km over 13 minutes, Versa says I covered 230m because it kept on pausing.

 

Yes, I've read the other forum threads.

No, I don't expect Fitbit will get off their wrecked ums and do anything about it.

No, I don't feel better after venting.

Grrr.

The first half of that run, before I stopped and restarted the tracking.

And below that is a better screenshot of the second half, the same as posted above.

There was no way any buttons were being pushed - I was sleeveless.

I have had the same issues as well as other issues that are probably related.  Bike ride for 14 miles fitbit paused on me and when done showed a 3 mile ride.  Same with tennis and tennis is not a gps controlled exercises tracker.  21 minutes tracked instead of 2.5 hours.  Frustrating.  I am watching most of the posts to see when the bug is fixed.  And I do think it is a bug since mine worked fine for several months.  Good luck

Turning wifi off during the workout seems to help. Not perfect but it helps.

This happened to me as well. I will try the wifi suggestion. This is frustrating.
