I was wearing my Fitbit versa on the beach and when I got back to my hotel room I noticed it wouldn’t let me clear my notifications and then it turned off the notifications and the screen won’t respond to any swiping and is stuck on main screen. I have tried factory resetting it and haven’t had any luck. I’ve had it just over a year so I believe my warranty is up. Thank you in advance for ways to fix this!

Have you tried the steps (here) to restart your Versa? I would suggest trying the procedure a few times.
If it doesn't fix the issue it may still be worth contacting customer support (here). They will be ale to discuss any warranty options you may have available to you.
