I woke up this morning and my Versa said I had 88,000 steps! Busy night!!  Any explanation? How do I reset it?

I think you may have the same issue I had this morning. I posted a thread around 10am called "Versa step count climbing as I sit here". It said:

I just passed my 5000 step goal for the day (rare disease, 10,000 is impossible), and noticed the count is just climbing and climbing as I sit here.  Now up to 5,890. Really, Fitbit? Didn't you just fix a Versa issue like this a week or 2 ago? Now 5,974 - I haven't moved. 

 

My versa now says I have 9,613 steps for today - my guess is my actual step count is closer to 3,000 - 4,000. I'd like to know if you get an answer about how to reset it. I never got a satisfactory response to my thread. Too many issues lately with my Versa - 3rd in about a month.
