So I bought a Versa 2 about a week ago. A big reason was to track my runs and monitor heart rate and calories burned. I run the same routes every week and have been tracking with Strava for years. The Versa 2 normally has my distance off by about .2 miles for every mile. So it'll record a 3 mile run, as a 2.5 mile run. This also throws off my pacing and makes it difficult to track my progress. I've unsynced my watch and phone, made sure my app and watch are fully updated, I've adjusted my stride length and nothing has fixed this issue. It maps the route correctly and matches with Strava by itself, but somehow the Versa 2 gets the distance wrong. I can't find a way to fix this issue and any help would be appreciated. It's seriously making me want to return the watch and find another smart watch/fitness tracker.
